Alinity Divine
Alinity made an appearance in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo from California filed an unrelated civil suit seeking $250,000 in damages from Twitch. The lawsuit claimed that Twitch allowed them to view "overly sexually suggestive content from streamers who were female while browsing the platform. According to Dexerto's court records Estavillo, who earlier sued Microsoft as well as Sony along with Nintendo and Blizzard in the past, filed his lawsuit on June 15 and Twitch was given an official summons later that day. Estavillo is a man who according to the complaint he filed in Santa Clara Superior Court of California that was filed on the 15th of June has been diagnosed with obsessive/compulsive issues as well as sexual addiction, among other medical problems that make him use the internet exclusively to stay entertained. The complaint also claims Twitch exacerbates these conditions. It then listed several female Twitch streamers who claim that they "continue to expose viewers to sexually addicting material and regularly on a daily and constant daily basis." Alinity isn't included. The complaint asks for all streamers mentioned above to be permanently banned from Twitch for violating the terms of service. The complaint also demands an amount of $25 million as compensation that will "be divided equally among the complainant, all other Twitch Turbo Subscribers as well as any remaining funds."
