Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. Shevchenko beat Anissa by a unanimous vote. She then went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina showed off her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera by knees. Antonina took a UFC offer after her victory. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight following her first fight by unanimous decision. Antonina rebounded from the defeat and fought Lucie Prudilova's fight in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a back naked choke submission. It was the best fight of the night in that bout. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 in her three subsequent matches, winning against Ariane Lipski, while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee.
